  1. Greenify
    1. While it doesn't REQUIRE root to run, it certainly requires root to work well. This application hibernates applications when you aren't using them so that they are unable to steal your precious battery life!
  2. Amplify or Wakelock Terminator
    1. Both of these require Xposed Framework, but they effectively stop certain applications from waking your phone while allowing the application to continue to function.
  3. Titanium Backup
    1. The ultimate application manager. Just google it for more info. There's too much on it for me to say more! :)
